Plastic chicken floor manufacturers

When selecting plastic poultry flooring, prioritize 100% virgin high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or polypropylene (PP). These materials are superior because they are UV-resistant, anti-aging, and non-toxic. Avoid recycled plastics which tend to be brittle and have a shorter lifespan. High-quality virgin plastic ensures the floor can withstand high impact and heavy loads without cracking under the weight of mature birds or equipment.

The hole size and surface texture are paramount. For broilers, a hole size of approximately 20mm x 20mm or 25mm x 25mm is standard to allow manure to fall through easily while preventing leg injuries. Ensure the surface has a non-slip frosted finish to prevent slipping and breast blisters. Additionally, the manure leakage rate should be high to maintain a dry environment, which significantly reduces the risk of coccidiosis and ammonia buildup.

Professional-grade plastic floors should support a static load of at least 200-300kg per square meter. Look for designs featuring an interlocking system (snap-fit), which ensures a seamless connection and prevents gaps where bacteria can grow. The support structure, typically made of PVC or fiberglass beams, must be height-adjustable to accommodate uneven ground and facilitate easy cleaning underneath.

Ensure the supplier provides SGS or TUV test reports regarding load-bearing capacity and material safety. For international trade, products should meet ISO 9001 quality management standards. If the poultry products are intended for organic-certified markets, verify that the plastic flooring does not contain harmful phthalates or heavy metals that could leach into the environment.

Always request a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) by a third-party agency. Focus on the weight per piece; a lighter floor often indicates thinner walls or the use of fillers, which reduces durability. On Made-in-China.com, prioritize Audited Suppliers who have undergone comprehensive on-site verification of their production facilities and quality control processes.

Negotiate based on total volume and long-term partnership rather than just the initial unit price. Ask for spare parts (extra clips or support legs) to be included in the bulk price. For orders exceeding 2,000 square meters, you can typically negotiate a 5-10% discount or request customized colors to match your brand identity without additional molding fees.

Plastic floors are bulky but relatively light, making sea freight (FCL - Full Container Load) the most economical option. To optimize shipping costs, ask the supplier to provide a loading plan that maximizes container space. Ensure the packaging uses fumigated pallets or high-strength woven bags to prevent deformation during long-term transit and multiple handlings at the port.

Utilize secure payment methods such as Letters of Credit (L/C) for large orders or trade escrow services. Ensure the Proforma Invoice (PI) clearly states the material composition, weight, and warranty period (ideally 3-5 years). Avoid direct transfers to private bank accounts; always use the official corporate account verified by the sourcing platform.
