Insect killer spray manufacturers

B2B buyers should prioritize formulations containing Pyrethroids (such as Cypermethrin, Permethrin, or Deltamethrin) for rapid knockdown and residual control. For eco-friendly lines, look for botanical oils like Peppermint or Geraniol. It is crucial to distinguish between water-based aerosols, which are less flammable and have lower odor, and oil-based formulas, which may offer longer-lasting residual effects but require careful application.

As these are chemical pesticides, products must adhere to strict safety standards. Ensure the supplier provides SDS (Safety Data Sheets) compliant with GHS. For the US market, EPA registration is mandatory; for the EU, compliance with the Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR) is required. Additionally, verify ISO 9001 for manufacturing quality and ISO 14001 for environmental management to ensure consistent chemical stability.

The aerosol cans must be made of high-quality tinplate or aluminum to prevent corrosion and leakage during long-term storage. Request specifications on the valve and nozzle system to ensure a consistent spray pattern (mist vs. jet) and to prevent clogging. For professional use, look for 360-degree valves that allow spraying at any angle, including upside down.

Selection depends on the environment: Indoor residential sprays should focus on low toxicity and pleasant scents (e.g., lemon or lavender). Industrial or outdoor sprays require higher concentrations of active ingredients and weather-resistant residual properties. For food-handling areas, ensure the product is NSF certified or labeled as safe for use in food processing environments under specific protocols.

Insect killer sprays are classified as Class 2.1 (Flammable Gas) or Class 2.2 (Non-flammable Gas) Dangerous Goods (DG) under the IMDG code. You must ensure the supplier is licensed to export DG and provides a Dangerous Goods Declaration. Failure to declare these correctly can lead to heavy fines, shipment seizure, or vessel fires.

Prioritize Audited Suppliers who have undergone on-site inspections by third-party agencies like SGS or Intertek. Check their Export License specifically for hazardous chemicals and request a sample testing report from a certified lab to verify that the active ingredient concentration matches the label claims.

Because aerosol filling lines require high setup costs, MOQs are often high (e.g., 10,000+ cans). To optimize costs, negotiate tiered pricing based on volume and consider Private Label (OEM) services, which may increase MOQ but improve brand equity. Always clarify if the quoted price includes specialized DG packaging (UN-rated cartons).

Use Secured Payment services provided by Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released upon proof of shipment. For first-time large orders, it is highly recommended to hire a third-party inspector to perform a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) to check for leakage, pressure levels, and correct labeling before the container is sealed.
