Capsule packaging bag price manufacturers

Capsule packaging requires high barrier properties to protect against moisture and oxidation. You should prioritize multi-layer laminated structures such as PET/AL/PE (Foil) or PET/VMPET/PE (Metallized). For eco-conscious brands, MOPP/Kraft Paper/VMPET/PE is a popular choice. Ensure the total thickness is at least 100-150 microns to prevent punctures and maintain the structural integrity of the capsules.

To ensure safety and convenience, the bags should include a resealable zipper (press-to-close or slider) to maintain freshness after opening. A tear notch is mandatory for easy initial access. For light-sensitive capsules, ensure the material has 100% opacity (Aluminum foil layer). Additionally, rounded corners are recommended to prevent injury and improve the aesthetic appeal for retail shelves.

Since capsules are often health-related, the packaging must be Food Grade and BPA-free. Suppliers should provide FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) or EC 1935/2004 (EU) compliance certificates. If you are sourcing from Made-in-China.com, look for manufacturers with ISO 22000 or HACCP certifications, which guarantee food safety management systems are in place.

For large volumes (over 10,000 units), Rotogravure Printing offers the lowest unit cost and highest color precision (up to 10 colors). For small batches or startups, Digital Printing is more economical as it eliminates plate-making fees, though the unit price is higher. Ensure the supplier uses eco-friendly, non-toxic inks that do not migrate through the film layers.

Request a pre-shipment sample and conduct a simple 'water-drop' or 'light-leak' test. More importantly, ask the supplier for a Third-Party Inspection Report (such as SGS or Intertek) specifically for Oxygen Transmission Rate (OTR) and Water Vapor Transmission Rate (WVTR). On Made-in-China.com, prioritize Audited Suppliers who have undergone on-site factory verifications.

Negotiate based on Total Volume vs. SKU count. If you have multiple designs for different capsule types, ask for a combined volume discount. Also, discuss plate fee waivers for long-term contracts. Be aware that raw material fluctuations (PE/Aluminum prices) can affect quotes; try to lock in prices for a 6-12 month period to ensure cost stability.

Capsule bags are lightweight but bulky. To save on costs, use Sea Freight (LCL or FCL) for large orders. Ensure the supplier uses heavy-duty 5-layer corrugated export cartons and plastic pallets with shrink wrap to prevent moisture ingress during sea transit. For urgent needs, Air Freight is viable but will significantly increase your landed cost per unit.

Always use Secured Payment services provided by the platform to ensure your funds are only released after you confirm receipt of goods. Avoid direct transfers to private bank accounts. Ensure the Proforma Invoice (PI) clearly states the detailed material specs, lead time, and refund policy for quality non-compliance.
