Excavator 210 manufacturers

When sourcing an Excavator 210 (21-ton class), you must prioritize the engine brand and power output, typically looking for reputable brands like Cummins, Isuzu, or Yanmar to ensure global parts availability. Key performance metrics include a bucket capacity of 0.8 to 1.2 m³, a maximum digging depth of approximately 6,500mm, and hydraulic system pressure (usually around 32-35 MPa). Ensure the hydraulic pumps are from top-tier manufacturers like Kawasaki or Rexroth to guarantee smooth operation and longevity.

For cross-border procurement, verify that the machinery carries the CE marking for European markets or meets EPA Tier 4/Euro V emission standards for North America and Europe. Safety features must include ROPS (Roll-Over Protective Structure) and FOPS (Falling Object Protective Structure) certified cabins. Request ISO 9001 certification from the manufacturer to ensure consistent production quality and test reports for structural integrity of the boom and arm.

The 210 series is a versatile 'all-rounder' used in urban construction, road building, and medium-sized mining operations. To maximize ROI, confirm the machine's auxiliary hydraulic piping compatibility for attachments such as hydraulic breakers, quick hitches, augers, and timber grabs. A high-quality supplier should offer customizable hydraulic flow settings via the in-cab monitor to match different work tools.

The undercarriage accounts for a significant portion of maintenance costs. Inspect the track link hardness, the number of carrier rollers (usually 2) and track rollers (usually 7-9). Ensure the machine uses heat-treated forged steel for pins and bushings. Ask the supplier for the greasing interval schedule and the availability of centralized lubrication systems to reduce daily downtime.

The biggest risks include specification mismatch and shipping damage. Mitigate these by using Made-in-China.com's inspection services or hiring a third-party inspector (like SGS or BV) to conduct a pre-shipment functional test. Ensure the contract specifies Trade Assurance or Letter of Credit (L/C) payment terms to protect your funds until the Bill of Lading is issued.

Due to its size, an Excavator 210 is typically shipped via Flat Rack (FR) containers or Roll-on/Roll-off (RoRo) vessels. RoRo is generally safer as it minimizes crane handling. Ensure the supplier applies anti-corrosion wax for sea transit and provides a detailed packing list for all detached parts (like the bucket or arm) to avoid customs delays.

Focus on the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the sticker price. Negotiate for a spare parts package (filters, seals, sensors) to be included for the first 2,000 hours of operation. For orders of 3+ units, aim for a 5-8% discount or an extended powertrain warranty (e.g., 24 months/4,000 hours). Always verify the supplier's after-sales response time and their ability to provide English-language service manuals and diagnostic software.

Never transfer funds to private bank accounts; always use the official corporate account verified on Made-in-China.com. Request a video walk-around of the specific serial number unit you are purchasing. Ensure the Incoterms (e.g., FOB, CIF, or DAP) are clearly defined in the Proforma Invoice to avoid hidden 'port of destination' charges which can be substantial for heavy machinery.
